Rooted in a passion for collaborative care, holistic wellness, and creativity, The Modern Wellness Collective was founded by Kirsten Hall-Baldwin in 2023, offering individual therapy to adults in Chicago.
Kirsten’s method is grounded and tailored to each client— with the belief that therapy should feel like a conversation, not a chore. She encourages clients to use empathy, self-compassion, and even a touch of humor as they navigate life’s challenges by creating a space where they can show up authentically as themselves and feel understood without judgment or expectations.
Clients will explore what is most important to them, and develop the tools needed to live their lives with meaning. With her guidance, Kirsten’s hope is that each person discovers what’s holding them back, who they are, and what they truly desire to live a more aligned and fulfilled life.
Kirsten’s approach is eclectic— pulling from a variety of techniques for a unique and creative plan to meet each individual’s needs.
Her interdisciplinary style incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solutions-Focused Therapy, and Humanistic approaches, as well as integrating components of Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
